    • Here at Kaycha Labs, we are happy to announce that we have recently become the first Certified Marijuana Testing Laboratory (CMTL) in Florida. Both our Davie and Gainesville locations have been awarded the first two official Florida Department of Health's CMTL Certifications. The CMTL Certification brings state-mandated testing into effect, meaning that all retail products containing marijuana must be randomly sampled and tested. Florida Department of Health awarding the first CMTL Certification to Kaycha Labs is a strong indication of our hard work and commitment to providing fast and thorough product testing for hemp and cannabis.

    Comprehensive Cannabis Testing

    The medicinal marijuana industry is expanding quickly throughout the United States, and it remains paramount that the operations that supply cannabis to these clinics are strictly and regularly tested. At Kaycha Labs, we know that testing for potency, terpenes, and homogeneity is essential. Equally important are methods that test for heavy metals, mycotoxins, residual solvents, and pesticides. Altogether, our labs have the ability to implement over 500 procedures and methods to test cannabis and hemp products using state-of-the-art equipment. Kaycha Labs is devoted to ensuring that the products they encounter are vigorously tested and that they remain compliant with all state and local regulations. These procedures and methods comply with standards set by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), International Standards Organization (ISO), United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Services, and Association of Analytical Communities (AOAC). “Receiving the first Department of Health CMTL Certification is an honor,” said Chris Martinez, President and Co-Founder of Kaycha Labs. “It’s a testament to our team that has worked so hard to get to where we are.” John Schwartz, Chief Operating Officer at Kaycha Labs agreed, “We are excited to receive this distinction in our home state.     ISO 17025 Accredited

    With labs operating successfully in seven other states, it should be no surprise that we at Kaycha Labs find ourselves the first Florida-based cannabis testing lab to receive the CMTL Certification. Both Davie and Gainesville labs are ISO 17025 accredited and perform marijuana and hemp product testing for clients to help ensure that Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTCs) remain compliant with all state and federal regulations.

    Full-Service Cannabis, Hemp, and CBD Testing

    As our primary two company locations were launched in Florida in 2017 and 2018, it's an honor that we now can test products that patients may find in their local Florida medicinal cannabis clinics. These products can include both THC-based cannabis and its associated products and various applications, as well as CBD-based products and their multiple uses. Our methods and trained scientists allow us to test both cannabis and hemp accurately, and our innovative technology enables us to offer results in these testing categories within 48 hours. As Florida's first testing lab to receive this certification, being able to ensure that patient's medical cannabis is of the utmost quality matters to us. We are grateful that our team's hard work and dedication to providing outstanding results to the Florida state has been recognized, and we will continue providing quality testing to our home state.
